Komorebi Beard Butter: A Closer Look

Table of Contents

Everyone has their own style and grooming routine. We are happy that so many of our members use Komorebi beard butter every day. It is a proud example of the love and care we put into everything at JC Grooming.

We believe that you should know everything you are using on your beard and skin. All our recipes are public – there are no numbers or hard to read chemicals. Only natural, simple and healthy ingredients that you can be confident to include in your routine.

What does Komorebi Beard Butter do?

  • Fights irritating beard-itch and “beardruff”
  • Fast absorption to avoid grease and residue
  • Only the finest natural ingredients
  • Easy and intuitive to use

Or in a nutshell, it deeply conditions your beard and keep rogue hairs in order. As if you are walking around with conditioner in your beard all day long. It is the ultimate side-kick to our beard oils.

Using an organic beard butter is the ultimate partner to beard oil. While beard oil moisturizes and invigorates your beard, butter locks in all the benefits of the oil.

To use beard butter, scoop out a pea-sized amount, rub between your palms, and generously apply throughout your beard from the roots to the tips. Follow up with a beard brush or beard comb to distribute evenly and massage into your skin.

It is made with 100% Organic ingredients – everything in that little jar is naturally produced. You can read the ingredients for yourself on the Komorebi product page or read on for an example of JC Grooming’s transparent production.

What’s inside?

Organic Butyrospermum Parkii Butter

A light oil that comes from the Shea Tree, indigenous to certain parts of Africa. It is an amazing ingredient that is used as a moisturizer around the world. It’s also used in food preparation and cocoa butter substitute in chocolates.

It is an all-around moisturizer, keeping your skin and beard moisturized and ensuring a boost to growth. The fatty acid component of shea butter can repair damaged hair by providing it with required nourishment. If your beard is damaged because of carelessness or excessive hair color, shea butter can revive the damaged hair.

It helps repair broken, straggly hairs and keeps your mane silky smooth. It’s also great to help beard acne and reduce itchiness as new hairs are coming in.

Organic Cera Alba

Also known as beeswax, is produced by honeybees and is the natural wax they use to make honeycombs. Beeswax acts like a shield for your beard hairs, locking in nutrients. We have tested our ratio of beeswax to ensure that it will keep your beard soft and styled, but not become hard and stiff. We use beeswax in all our butters, it truly is an incredible and completely organic way to invigorate your beard and skin.

Organic Simmondsia Chinensis Oil

This is derived from the seeds of the jojoba shrub, which grows in the desert. It gently exfoliates your skin, along with softening and moisturizing your beard. It is a wax that closely resembles the oil that your body produces naturally, so it’s perfect as a base.

Organic Argania Spinosa Oil

From the Argan Tree, only found in the Southern West corners of Morocco. The amber oil from this tree contains exceptional amounts of vitamin E and natural moisturizers. This does wonders for your pores, skin and of course your beard. It is high in fatty acids which help restore the balance of natural oils in the skin. It is also rich in Vitamin E which stimulates hair growth and helps to repair and prevent split ends.

Organic Emblica Officinalis Oil

This oil comes from the Amla Fruit, also known as the Indian gooseberry. This fruit has a remarkable ability to nourish and invigorate your beard hair and the skin underneath. It is proven in tackling dry and brittle hair to turn it into strong, luxurious locks. It does this by keeping the hair strong at the base. It is used all over the world in shampoos due to its natural creation process and the effect it has on hair.

Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils

Our essential oils add the finishing touches to an already incredible product. Peppermint, tea and sweet orange help consistency, invigorate your skin and create the trademark fragrance only found with Komorebi.

We recommend using beard butter as part of a routine to ensure all around care for your mane. Combine beard butter with oil and balm, along with brushing and regular trimming.

We hope you have gleamed some insights into how we do things here at JC Grooming. All natural, all organic and carefully researched ingredients. Everything is hand-made with the utmost care and attention to detail.

For those gentlemen looking for a scent that is clean, invigorating, and fresh, Komorebi is the one for you. Jump to our Komorebi Collection to see how Komorebi can fit into your grooming routine.

Along with the health benefits, we also use natural. These are natural ways to strengthen and condition your beard. Komorebi’s signature blend of peppermint, tea tree and sweet orange gives it a subtle and sophisticated aroma. When we made the Komorebi scent, we aimed to create something natural, fresh and clean smelling. Months of refinement and testing left us with what is now known as Komorebi.
